7-1, Pairs of Angles (8.G.1, 8.G.2, and 8.G.3)
Vertical angles are formed by two intersecting lines and are opposite each other. Vertical angles are congruent. They have the same measure.
Adjacent angles have a common vertex and a common side, but no common interior points.
If the sum of the measures of two angles is 180 degrees, the angles are supplementary. If the sum of the measures of the two angles is 90 degrees, the angles are complementary.
Perpendicular lines are two lines that intersect to form a right angle. Recall that a right angle measures 90 degrees.
